Emily Floyd

Emily Floyd works with sculpture, printmaking and public installation. Her work takes place at the intersections of sculpture, public space, design and social crisis. It embraces elements of expanded sculpture and a range of print media and typographic artifacts, including the poster and the manifesto.

Emily Floyd has exhibited work at All the World’s Futures, Venice Biennale; Sheila Johnson Design Centre at Parsons School of Design, New York; Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney, among others.

Benjamin Hirte

Benjamin Hirte uses a combination of objects and text within his works to examine themes of semiotics, slang, and metaphor within cultural histories.

Benjamin Hirte has exhibited work at Museum für moderne Kunst, Frankfurt; Museo Canonica, Villa Borghese, Rome; and Leopold Museum, Vienna, among others.

Javier Barrios Gutiérrez

Javier Barrios Gutiérrez’s work reflects on political themes found in art, particularly in artworks that appear neutral or decorative. He works with drawing, sculpture and installation, using strategies such as irony, fiction and the appropriation of symbols and images related to social issues and the history of art. Gutiérrez runs an editorial project titled Ediciones Barrio Boy’z, in which he publishes his own work and collaborations with other authors.

Javier Barrios Gutiérrez has exhibited work at Proyectos LA, Los Angeles; Páramo Gallery, Guadalajara, Mexico; and Museo de Arte de Zapopan MAZ, Mexico, among others.
