Hannah Fitz

Hannah Fitz creates sculpture works, representing familiar objects, departicularized and dead pan. Awkwardly rendered as still chunks of physicality uncomfortable in their material form, they are more an image than object. Fitz creates series or sets of sculptures, with repeated and varied forms that catch on a glitch in vision or a gap in knowledge.

Hannah Fitz has exhibited works at Kerlin Gallery, Dublin; Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin; and L21, Mallorca, among others.

David Escalona

David Escalona uses ideas and concepts he studied in medical school as guiding principles in his artistic practice. The body, disease, disability, cure and the fragility of our existence are some of the topics present in his work. Escalona uses conflict and contingency as starting points for new artistic possibilities.

David Escalona has exhibited work at Instituto Cervantes New Dheli; CentroCentro Madrid; and Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, among others.

Paky Vlassopoulou

In her practice, Paky Vlassopoulou explores issues such as the production of knowledge, historization and ruins. Most recently, she has been particularly interested in the politics of service industries in relation to notions of care and hospitality. Her work often takes the form of an event, open to participation and discussion. In 2012, together with artists Chrysanthi Koumianaki and Kosmas Nikolaou, she co-founded 3 137, an artist run space operating in Athens, Greece.

Paky Vlassopoulou has had work commissioned by NEON Foundation and Whitechapel Gallery at the Gennadius Library/The American School of Classical Studies, Athens; and has exhibited work in a project by the New Museum, New York, and the DESTE Foundation, at the Benaki Museum, Athens, and at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, among others.
