Artist

Anna Nyberg

Anna Nyberg’s painting practice often culminates in large-scale spatial installations. Her painterly objects engage with the architecture of the exhibition space, interacting with walls, ceilings, and floors to evoke new spatial experiences, both real and imagined. These encounters challenge the body’s perceptual ability to take in knowledge from its surroundings. By inviting viewers to experience the space from within, Nyberg aims to create an awareness of our own existence.

Anna Nyberg has exhibited work at Västerås Art Museum; Ronneby; and Kummelholmen, all in Sweden, among others.
