Maess Anand
Maess Anand’s drawings depict cancer-affected organisms. Using scientific materials such as cancer-related databases, microscopic views, histopathology images, Kaplan-Meier curves, and 2D and 3D modeling, Anand transforms the data into visually expressive images.
Maess Anand has exhibited work at The Drawing Center, New York; Wroclaw Contemporary Museum, Poland; and Austrian Culture Forum, Warsaw, among others.
