Evelyn Plaschg

Evelyn Plaschg’s works explore the body as it transitions between mediated staging and raw emotion. Her paintings are based on stills from smartphone videos in which the body serves as a platform for psychological as well as social states.

Evelyn Plaschg has exhibited work at Kunstverein Bremerhaven, Germany; Kunstverein Nürnberg, Germany; and Gallery Layr, Austria, among others. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Florian Mayr

Florian Mayr’s practice is centered on the immanent conditions of artistic production. His works explore social and economic ties, connections, and relationships, taking biographical events as a starting point.

Florian Mayr has exhibited works at Gallery Martin Janda, Vienna; Gallery Sophie Tappeiner, Vienna; and Austrian Cultural Forum, London, among others.

Anamaría Garzón Mantilla

Anamaría Garzón Mantilla is an art historian and curator. In addition to being a professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, she is a PhD student at the University of Essex and the director of post(s), an academic journal about art, media and culture. Her research focuses on artistic and curatorial practices that challenge hegemonic narratives and omissions in art history.

Anamaría Garzón Mantilla has curated exhibitions at Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Quito; Arte Actual – FLACSO; and Khora, all in Ecuador.
