İnci Furni

İnci Furni contemplates the constructed spaces of social life and researches the possibilities of new and as-yet-undefined fields of individual existence outside of these. Furni’s inner world and everyday life fill the background of these research processes. Dreams, imaginations and content are brought into the works through inward processes of exploration without designating an individual quest or inner journey.

İnci Furni has exhibited work at Arter, Istanbul; Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna; and the 2009 Istanbul Biennial, among others.

His films that are constructed as continuous loops are displayed in relation to the existing exhibition space further emphasizing their sculptural qualities rather than a narrative drive.
