Lou Sheppard

Lou Sheppard works with score, systems of notation, translation and metaphor to explore the performative powers of data and language. They have worked with a wide variety of source texts-diagnostic criteria from the DSM V, field recordings of birdsong, sea ice tracking data, executive management principles, government policy among others, to create scores, musical compositions, choreographies, and performances. Their work often leads them to collaborate with other artists, including musicians, visual artists and performing artists.

Lou Sheppard has exhibited work at the Toronto Biennial; Simon Fraser University, Vancouver; and the Antarctic Biennial, Antarctica/Moscow, among others.

Volkan Kızıltunç

Volkan Kızıltunç is a photographer working in between still and moving image. His works focus on time, visual perception of memory, reconstruction, observation and typologies.

Volkan Kızıltunç has exhibited work at Istanbul Modern; Centre of Contemporary Art Znaki Czasu (CoCA), Torun, Poland; Essl Museum, Vienna; TRAFO Center for Contemporary Art, Szczecin, Poland; Sinop Biennale; Akbank Art, Istanbul; Elgiz Museum, Istanbul; and Mas Museum, Antwerp, among others. He is the co-founder of NOKS Independent Art Space in Istanbul. He won the ESSL Art Award in 2013 and the Akbank Contemporary Artists Prize in 2015.

Laura Põld

Laura Põld’s work deals with territory and place. She seeks to combine specific histories, or qualities of a given location, with her art. She works mainly with clay and ceramic sculpture, textile and embroidery, wood and painting, weaving them together with natural, context-specific and interdisciplinary elements, often engaging in collaborative endeavors.

Laura Põld has exhibited work at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM), Tallinn, Estonia; le lieu unique; Nantes, France; and Tartu Art Museum, Estonia, among others.
