Hannah Woo

Hannah Woo envisions an existence beyond the confines of a fixed, finite body, challenging the human–nonhuman divide to imagine a world where all beings coexist on equal terms. Her work navigates the convergence of opposites—living and nonliving, protector and protected, pain and joy. Spanning painting, sculpture, and installation, her genre-defying practice centers fabric as a primary material to give form to these ideas.
Hannah Woo has exhibition work at SeMA – Seoul Museum of Art; Art Sonje Center; and Buk-Seoul Museum of Art, all in Seoul, among others.
