Walter Scott

Walter Scott is an interdisciplinary artist working across comics, drawing, video, performance and sculpture. Contemporary questions of representation, cultural production, popular culture and narrative construction are central to his practice. His comic series, Wendy, chronicles the continuing misadventures of a young artist in a satirical version of the contemporary art world.

Walter Scott has exhibited work at Remai Modern, Saskatoon; Francois Ghebaly Gallery, Los Angeles; and Musée d’art contemporain de Montreal, among others.

Bárbara Perea Legorreta

Bárbara Perea Legorreta is an independent Mexico City-based curator and writer. Her practice focuses primarily on media and sound art and is grounded in the concept of exhibition making as a platform for critical thinking. Core aspects of her practice include transdisciplinarity and fostering dialogues between media art, contemporary practices and audiences. She is interested in listening practices and perceptual phenomena in relation to art.

Bárbara Perea Legorreta has curated exhibitions and festivals in Mexico, Europe, Canada and the United States, including at Plataforma Puebla 2006; Laboratorio Arte Alameda, Mexico City; and the Venice Biennale, among others.

Maija Kurseva

Maija Kurševa is an artist and publisher whose work encompasses various media including printmaking, drawing, sculpture and animation, often with recurring characters and themes.

Maija Kurševa has exhibited work at Kim? Contemporary Art Center; Latvian National Museum of Art; and LOW Gallery, all Riga, among others. She is a lecturer at the Art Academy of Latvia; founder and curator of the Riga Zine Fest; and founder and programme director of the artist-run non-commercial LOW Gallery.
