Maja Bekan

Maja Bekan’s work explores and questions mediation and delegation of artwork production. She is interested in a collaborative and social approach to explore personal histories, truths, economies and social relations. Bekan works on long-term research-based projects that involve different levels of collaboration, presented to the public in the form of performances, site-specific environments, and video/audio/text-based installations.

Maja Bekan has exhibited work at Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw; Kunsthaus, Graz; and Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, among others.

Yuki Higashino

Yuki Higashino explores a variety of topics through his work, including the influence of digital technology on our visual culture, immigrant identity, and the conflict between language and picture. Higashino combines several aesthetic standards, such as those of photography, calligraphy, and film, to create his own distinctive pictorial lexicon.

Yuki Higashino has exhibited work at Mumok, Vienna; Last Tango, Zurich; Contemporary Art Factory, Kyoto; Galerie Kunstbuero, Vienna; and The Brno House of Arts, among others.

Mohammed Al-Atiq

In his practice, Mohammed Al-Atiq uses simple elements, ordinary tools and at times cheap materials to create pieces that explore the ideas of time and place. He is also interested in building unusual connections between the work and the audience.

Mohammed Al-Atiq has exhibited Qatar Fine Art Society; Complesso Monumentale, Rome; and Avesta Cafe del Arto, Frankfurt, among others.
