Artist

Tamás Páll

In his practice, Tamás Páll’s explores emergent world-systems, non-human technologies, performative spaces and experimental role-playing. Páll is interested in new forms of collective world-building and computational simulation as a prefigurative practice via the concept of “Xenorealit,” the emergent and temporary realities between fiction and primary reality.

Tamás Páll has exhibited work at panke.gallery, Berlin; MeetFactory, Prague; and Victoria and Albert Museum, London, among others.

Artist

Hana Al-Saadi

Hana Al-Saadi’s work explores the effects of her cultural society and the use of social media to generate discussions with anonymous identities and the space between privacy and the public. She works with archives, sound, and household items to create and assemble spontaneous installations.

Hana Al-Saadi has exhibited work at Cosmoscow, Moscow; The WaterFire Arts Center, Providence; and Fire Station – Qatar Museums, among others.

The installation consists of the artist's late grandmother sewing machine and the artist's shoe on the machine's pedal, sewing an endless loop of fabric. The installation represents two different generations, being the younger trying to follow the traditional line of an older generation.

The installation consists of a foosball resembling toy sandwiched by two electric standing fans facing each other, rotating and playing with each other.

Untitled is a highly intuitive work where the artist experimented with hair accessories, exploring the importance of hair grooming for women in the Islamic world. The work is a cast of multiple hairpins organized to form a pattern. This work was a catalyst for which the artist expanded the idea of the importance of hair to women

This work is an ongoing archive the artist started to collect in 2019 by screenshot twitter comments of women policing other women on how they suppose to dress. On the facing wall, There are screenshots of the same women's profile pictures of anonymous women dressing in a contradictory way of what they believe.

Artist

Maja Štefančíková

Maja Štefančíková creates temporary performative situations. She interested in the role of a spectator as a subject and an object of and artwork. She aims to understand the effort audience members put into the perception and understanding, or lack thereof, of an artwork and the interpretation that ensues. Further, the artist explores social phenomena such as work, institutionalized spaces, and the current art ecosystem, in relation to aesthetic experiences, perception and memory.

Maja Štefančíková has exhibited work at House of Arts Brno, Czech Republic; Ars Electronica Center, Linz, Austria; Kunstverein Eisenstadt, Austria, among others.
